Ever since its inception in 1952, the Patriot Movement has been "preaching to the choir". In other words, the Patriot message has essentially been passed back and forth between like-minded people. The message has rarely penetrated the community at large.
The lack of effective communication within our communities at large, as well as on a national level, has adversely affected the Movement in two serious ways:
The growth of the Movement, and the dissemination of the doctrines that underlie the Movement, have been excruciatingly slow.
It has given the dominant media (which includes "Hollywood") the opportunity to paint a completely false picture of who the Patriot Movement is and what we stand for.
Aside from stating the foregoing, it is unnecessary to discuss the past. We must focus on the future. To that end, Original Intent has created the Media Access Project (MAP).
The goals of MAP are two-fold:
- To acquire access to all forms of media, (i.e. TV, radio, print, internet, etc) in order that carefully selected Original Intent spokespersons may properly and articulately disseminate the Patriot message of restoration and renewal of liberty in America.
- To provide a resource that media entities can use when seeking accurate information concerning the Patriot Movement generally, and the Tax Honesty Movement specifically.
One might reasonably ask why after 50 years of turning a blind eye to the Patriot Movement, the media would turn to Original Intent as a source of information. There are a number of factors that makes today different than years past, but the primary reason is that Original Intent has hired a professional publicist.
Additionally, Original Intent has entered into collaborative agreements with many of the most well-known and articulate Patriots in the Movement. These individuals will represent Original Intent in various radio programs, TV shows, debates, speeches, and articles.
